Robert Hillman to develop a upper respiratory papillomatosis voice monitoring system for assessing voice disorders.
The system uses a small non-invasive sensor placed on the neck that plugs into a smartphone. We are recruiting patients with muscle tension dysphonia no lesions or vocal fold nodules must be bilateral lesions to upper respiratory papillomatosis in this study.
Subjects need to be monitored for one week before beginning voice therapy upper respiratory papillomatosis for one week following the completion of voice therapy. Subjects undergoing surgery would also need to be monitored for one week before laryngeal surgery and upper respiratory papillomatosis week after surgery but before starting therapy.
Furthermore, if subjects receive voice therapy after surgery, they would be monitored again once voice therapy is completed.
No intelligible speech is recorded by the voice monitor. Willingness to consider participation at this point only means that the patient agrees to hear more about the study and will then decide if they actually want to participate.
